More flights, more destinations
Delta’s Munich to Detroit flights will be operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft, while the Munich to Atlanta route will be operated on Airbus Boeing 767-400 aircraft. All flights between Germany and the USA are operated in cooperation with Delta’s joint venture partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.

An enhanced flight experience…
Delta customers will enjoy a whole new travel experience with the introduction of Delta Premium Select. The new premium product offers wider seats with extra legroom and adjustment options, as well as adjustable head and footrests and larger screens for more entertainment. During the peak travel months, the airline will offer up to 460 seats daily from Munich to the United States, including 67 seats in Delta One Business Class and 41 in Delta Premium Select.

Eco-friendly products
As part of the sustainability program, Delta has also made changes to inflight service to reduce the use of single-use plastic. In Business Class Delta One, Mexican clothing brand Someone Somewhere’s new amenity kits are made from recycled and locally sourced cotton. The airline does without five plastic parts, including zippers and packaging. Delta One customers can also sleep comfortably thanks to bedding made from recycled plastic bottles. Meals in the Main Cabin are served with new biodegradable tableware, bamboo cutlery and a premium paper placemat.
