Dell launches monitor for gaming in 4k

Dell launches two new gaming monitors. With the G3223D, the manufacturer announces its first 4k gaming display. The G3223D should also be suitable for gaming, but should appeal more to price-conscious customers.

The G3223Q should primarily score with its 4k resolution. Other features of the 32-inch monitor are: Fast IPS with a response time of 1ms, HDMI 2.1 connectivity and a refresh rate of 144 Hz for PCs and 120 Hz for consoles. The monitor also has DisplayHDR 600 certification and supports AMD FreeSyncPremium Pro for smooth gaming, the manufacturer says.

The G3223Q is scheduled to launch on March 30, 2022. Dell has not yet provided any information on the prices for Switzerland. What is certain, however, is that the display is more in the higher price segment. In the USA, the monitor is said to cost just under 1100 US dollars, as “laptopmag.com” reported.

Dell promises a refresh rate of 165 Hz on PCs and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The monitor has VESA DisplayHDRTM 400 certification and supports AMD FreeSyncPremium and Nvidia G-Sync.

The G3223D is already commercially available. The RRP is 455 francs.
