Thecribbler, in English, it is our “scribouillard”, or even the “plumitif”, even the “cuistre” – as many concentric targets as the creators of Gulliver, John Bull or the Dunciad have made it their mission to atomize with great blows of satirical projectiles and bursts of laughter.
