The Supreme Court has now confirmed the first-instance guilty verdict of a Salzburg jury once morest a 30-year-old Turk. In March 2019, the latter had literally “shot down” two oncoming cars on the B 156 in Flachgau with his high-horsepower car – according to the verdict, with suicidal intent.
In an unusual attempted murder trial, a 30-year-old Turk had been sentenced to 15 years in prison on November 30, 2022 at the Salzburg Regional Court.
According to the verdict of the jury, the man, who was born in Salzburg and last lived in the Innviertel, had already deliberately steered his powerful Porsche into oncoming traffic on the Lamprechtshausener Bundesstraße (B 156) near Nußdorf in March 2019, namely with the intention of committing suicide.
