Delf will give a concert this Friday at Casa Carrère.
For the third evening of summer concerts at Casa Carrère, Friday July 22 at 9 p.m., the singer of Catalan origin, Delf, accompanied by Patrick Felices on double bass and André Margail on guitar, will perform. Meet.
What is your background ?
I started in 2013 as an author, composer and performer. Since then, I have learned to play the guitar and the ukulele. In 2019, I released a first album called The links which is available on all digital platforms. I am currently in preparation for a second album.
How would you describe your musical universe?
My main theme is centered on the human, the emotions. I’m kind of a realistic singer. I appreciate intimate atmospheres where I can see people in the eye.
Is this the first time you have formed a trio with Patrick Felice and André Margail?
I have been working with Patrick for four years. We are going to take advantage of the visit to the Pyrénées-Orientales of André Margail, a renowned musician, to include him in a one-night trio and take advantage of his exceptional talent.
What are you going to offer the public at Casa Carrère?
The concert will take place in two stages. In a first part, I will interpret original compositions of which I realized the texts and the music with the assistance of Pascal Perals for some of them. In a second part, I will take up standards of French and Latin song (Spanish and Cuban).
