Del Potro, with an open heart: “I still feel like a player, I don’t think like a former tennis player”

The Tower of Tandil assured that he feels a “rare combination of feelings” during his visit to the US Open. “I see them play and I say, ‘I have to be there,'” she said.

Juan Martín Del Potro returned to a very special place: He is a luxury spectator of the US Open. And, despite the fact that he left the activity after his emotional participation with the smell of farewell in the Argentina Open, the Tower of Tandil made it clear that he still does not feel “extenista”.

Moreover, Del Potro assured that the organization of the US Open, which he won in 2009, invited him to say goodbye playing next year’s edition.

“I’m still trying treatments to improve and keep my knee well. If I get better, I want to try to get back on tour and today at the US Open they told me about the chance to say goodbye next year”, said the man from Tandil.

“I come here, I’m going to see friends, new players from other generations. I’m going to feel good, but when I see them play I say: ‘I have to be there’. I still feel that. I have a weird combination of feelings.”Del Potro added, with an open heart.
