Arrived in Atlanta from San Antonio this summer, Dejounte Murray will not only bring his twenty points and his defense. He will also bring his game vision and his vista. The proof with this video of more than eight minutes which brings together the best caviars of the boy during the last season.

In Dejounte Murray’s MIP-caliber campaign, it is perhaps in passing that he has made the most progress: 9.2 assists per game in 68 games, a total of 627 assists distributed to his San Antonio buddies and 264 more than in the previous season. Only three NBA players have done better in assists per game, namely Chris Paul, James Harden and his new Hawks teammate Trae Young. Suffice to say that the Dejounte, he knows quite well how to make others play when he gets down to it. Just ask Jakob Poeltl, Keldon Johnson, Lonnie Walker and Co., they’ll all confirm it. This ability of Murray to help his mates shine was at the heart of Spurs’ ‘surprise’ campaign, who finally managed to secure a place in the play-in tournament thanks to 34 victories despite being promised the shallows of the Western Conference. The ultimate proof that the Seattle native can run a collective, and we can’t wait to see what it’s going to be like now on the Atlanta side with his new backcourt buddy Ice Trae.

But before finally turning the page and watching him in his new jersey, let’s appreciate together one last time what he was able to bring to San Antonio last season. Word of advice for Spurs fans, bookmark this video as you may need to re-release it at some point given what’s in store for you in the upcoming season.
