Indonesian mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja are ready to face the Chinese pair in the final of the 2024 Korea Masters.
This was conveyed by Dejan after they beat home pair Ko Sung Hyun/Eom Hye Won 21-18, 21-7 in the semifinals, Saturday, to ensure a place in the top round of the BWF Super 300 tournament.
“Thank God, we are happy to be able to get to the final. Tomorrow against the Chinese pair, whoever it is, we have lost to them, so tomorrow we want to prepare even more, correct any mistakes in the last meeting,” said Dejan in a written statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

“Today Sis Glo played very well, her front game was excellent so I just had to execute the finish,” he said.
Gloria revealed that her opponent in the semifinals was very senior. He has also met Ko Sung Hyun, so he knows his opponent’s playing patterns.
More than that, Gloria also managed to take advantage of her opponent’s performance which was no longer at its best to dominate the match. “From today’s game, the opponent is a very senior player, even above me. I have met Ko Sung Hyun before, so I already know the picture, so just remember it,” said Gloria.
“Apart from that, I saw that their speed and physicality had decreased a lot. We won from this side so we tried to keep the ball out of their reach because their movements were no longer keeping up.”
In the final round, Sunday (10/11), Dejan/Glo will meet Chen Fanghui/Guo (Ant/Z-6)
