Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Deputy Chief of Dubai Police, Dahi Khalfan, saw that the “Arab Spring” was a plan to “destabilize Arab security,” pointing out that he thanked God for its failure, on Tuesday.

Khalfan said in a tweet on Twitter: “The Arab Spring revolutions were a plan to destabilize Arab security..failed…God does not bless those who planned it.”

And the Deputy Chief of Dubai Police continued, saying: “When I go back to the memory of the past few years, I say, praise be to God, that the scheme that was called the Arab Spring revolutions and that was adopted by some countries, we failed miserably.”

The revolutions witnessed by some Arab countries, starting with Tunisia at the beginning of the last decade, are called the “Arab Spring”, as this stage witnessed a popular movement in several Arab countries, some of which led to the overthrow of the regimes, while others turned into civil wars.
