Defective charging station set fire to farm used for storage

A neighbor, a member of the volunteer fire brigade, heard a loud bang from the former stable wing around 10 p.m. When checking, flames were already blazing from the roof, whereupon the man alerted his colleagues, the police informed.

Electrical devices were stored in what used to be the hayloft of the stable. The fire apparently emanated from the defective charging station. According to the police, there is no evidence of third-party negligence. The deposited equipment was largely destroyed. A hairdressing salon in the side wing of the courtyard was also severely affected by the extinguishing water. The police have not yet been able to estimate the total amount of damage.

On the morning of Holy Saturday, the fire brigade was alerted once more because part of the yard began to glow once more. The fire was quickly extinguished. The fire brigade secured the covered roof with tarpaulins once morest the rain.
