Deepika to direct Oscar; With Dwayne Johnson and Michael B. Jordan

This year’s Oscars are more favored by India. Three films have been shortlisted for the Academy Award. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will host the 95th Oscars. Deepika’s name is included in the list of presenters at the Academy Awards ceremony that came out the other day.

There will be a total of 16 presenters in the program. Apart from the actress, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troye Kozur, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors and Questlove are among the other stars who will lead the award ceremony.

Deepika also shared the list on social media. After the post, many people come with congratulations. Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone and Ranveer Singh have also given their reaction. The ceremony will take place on March 12 (India telecast on March 13) at the Dolly Theater in Los Angeles.

Among the three films from India, SS Rajamouli’s ‘Natu Natu’ from ‘RRR’ will compete for the best song. Shaunak Sen’s ‘All That Breathes’ competes in the Best Documentary Feature Film category. Guneeth Monga’s ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ is another film in the running for Best Documentary.
