Celebrity Deddy Corbuzier apologize and revoke alias take down a video recording of his podcast inviting same-sex couples with the themes of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) on his youtube channel.
This was done by Deddy in response to a request from Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or better known as Gus Miftah. For information, Miftah is the figure who guides Deddy to become a convert.
“So if I pay attention, lu have to apologize. If lu treat me as a teacher, ‘Gus what is the advice?’ Lu I’m sorry,” said Gus Miftah in the Deddy Corbuzier Podcast quoted Tuesday (10/5).
Responding to Miftah, at that moment Deddy later apologized for his podcast recording which caused a polemic.
“But like this, if this really makes a ruckus that stirs the community, gua sorry,” said Deddy.
Not only that, Miftah also asked Deddy to revoke his alias take down Podcast the LGBT content from his Youtube channel. Deddy also agreed to the proposal.
“If lu who asked, lu cave teacher, lu already neranginYes, there is no problem,” said Deddy.
Then Deddy explained that he had no campaign goals and intentions. He even admitted that he often said he would not support LGBT behavior.
Gus Miftah also said that he would be the first to oppose if Deddy’s goal was to campaign for this behavior.
“I was interviewed by journalists, if Deddy’s goal is to campaign, I will fight first. I will be the first to be angry,” said Gus Miftah.
Along with his latest chat with Miftah, via his personal Instagram account, Deddy wrote that he had withdrawn the video recording and apologized.
“I will delete the video. But I still believe they are human. Hopefully they find a better way. Sorry for everything,” wrote Deddy in his upload.
When this news was written, the video was no longer visible on Deddy Corbuzier’s YouTube account.
Previously, the podcast has received various responses from the public. Several figures such as the Chair of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Da’wah Cholil Nafis and Social and Religious Observer Anwar Abbas also gave criticism.
