Decrease in the Number of Real Estate Investors in Belgium: Survey Reveals Surprising Results

SurveyRising rates have put a damper on real estate investors, writes L’Echo in its Thursday edition. The number of multi-owners in Belgium increased less in 2022 than in previous years.

Each year, the number of multi-owners continues to grow, whether for rental purposes or for own use. 869,342 taxpayers owned more than one property in Belgium on 1 January 2023, i.e. “only” 1.69% more than in 2022, and 1.19 million Belgians owned more than one residence in Belgium or abroad , underlines the Last Hour.
