The city, which is approximately 200km from Belo Horizonte, is popularly known for its historic landscapes and cobblestone streets – and which since 1938 has been listed by Iphan (Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage).

From October 19th to 22nd, Tiradentes welcomes creative minds and skilled hands of artisans for an immersive experience with a program full of lectures, exhibitions, workshops, chats, workshops, tours and much more.

Parallel to this, Decortiles arrives as the official sponsor of the festival, valuing new talents in Brazilian design. Innovation is also a keyword this week.

“For us at Tiradentes Creative Week, the entry of the Decortiles brand is the result of a concern that goes beyond relationship actions with professionals, but shows a focus on the community, on our culture, on crafts that, although whether local, it speaks of a heritage that belongs to all of us, in Brazil. This is the legacy that will remain and reinforces how much the brands believe in the purpose behind SCT”, Simone Quintas, creator and curator of the festival.

As an opening act, architect Isabel Camara lectures on the “Preservation of the architectural complex of Tiradentes”, which takes place on the 19th in the morning. Offered by Decortiles, the chat will deal exclusively with the rules for preserving the architecture and specificities of Tiradentes.

In addition to the talks, Decortiles promotes cultural tours of renowned ateliers in the city – Ateliê do Waguinho and Ateliê Ferradura do Nonato – guided by designer Estevão Toledo and architect Pamela Caszely. Connectarch (relationship program for designers and architects) also welcomes guests for an experience dinner: Conexões Tiradentes.

“Participating in Tiradentes Creative Week is much more for us than just attending an event. It is a privilege to be able to share our passion for design, innovation and manual craftsmanship in such an enriching setting. Our participation is guided by this commitment: elevating the aesthetic and functional experience of spaces, and the festival proves to be the perfect environment to increasingly inspire us in this mission. We hope to delve into the universe of creativity, inspire each other and cultivate meaningful connections with everyone who shares our appreciation for beauty”, Clarice Mello, marketing superintendent at Decortiles.
