After the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, who fled Bangladesh due to public pressure and student protests, the situation in Bangladesh changed, there is now a meeting between the army chief and the president of Bangladesh.

On the other hand, the student movement has put forward its demands and is not ready to give an open concession to the army.

Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-ul-Zaman and leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and other parties were also present during the meeting with the President.

During the meeting, it was decided to release the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia early.

While addressing the nation, General Waqar-ul-Zaman said that all political parties will be represented in the interim government.

General Waqar-ul-Zaman said that as a result of fruitful negotiations and consensus with all political parties, we have reached a decision to establish the interim government. Now we will talk to President Muhammad Shahabuddin to end the political crisis facing the country.
