EDITORIAL. The climate crisis can no longer be content with scoops. Faced with disruption and overheating, France must focus on innovation.

En July 2023, the planet experienced the hottest month on record, leading UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to declare that “the era of global warming is over, place in the era of global boiling”. In fact, the climate crisis will not allow a return to normal. The dynamics of global warming lead, in the median scenario, to a 4.5°C increase in the temperature of the planet in 2100, once morest a target of 1.5°C set by the Paris agreement.
