Jamie Mauson, a Mexican journalist known for his interest in UFOs, claimed that the figures were millennia old and had been excavated in Peru. Although he argued that they belonged to an unknown species, the scientific community considered these claims to be a hoax. They explained that the remains found were only ancient human mammals that had been modified by adding animal parts.
At a press conference organized by Peru’s Ministry of Culture, it was emphasized that the figures found at the DHL office had nothing to do with those displayed in Mexico.
