Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, Professor and Carcinogen Research Scientist, confirmed that breakfast is not necessary.

Al-Khudairi said: “Those who said that breakfast is important and necessary are lying. And do not believe those who say that it is the most important meal, except for the very hungry.”

He explained that recent studies advise following hastening to eat breakfast, and continued: “It is necessary to drink two cups of water before breakfast, and it is better for health to delay breakfast for an hour so that the body performs the necessary metabolism to digest and rid the digestive system and intestines of the sediment from last night’s dinner.”

And he concluded: There is no need to rush to break the fast, except for hungry children, or those who feel very hungry, or those whose dinner was light yesterday.
