Suffering from a brain tumor
It was in October 2020 that Tom Parker learned that he had a brain tumor. In a message posted on their Instagram account, the group said they were “devastated by the tragic and untimely death” of Tom Parker. “He was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi,” the boy band members added. “He was our brother, words cannot express the loss and sadness we feel. Forever in our hearts.”
The Wanted, formed in 2009, rose to international prominence in 2012 with the single “Glad You Came”, which totaled more than half a million plays on Spotify.
The British group had announced their separation in 2014. However, the members of the boy band had teased their return on September 8, 2021 during a press conference, but also on social networks, with the release of an album, Most Wanted – The Greatest Hits.
