Death of Khaled Mansour, commander of the Islamic Jihad in southern Gaza

The leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled Mansour, was killed in an Israeli raid that targeted him in the town of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Al-Quds Brigades reported that leader Khaled Mansour, nicknamed “Abu Al-Ragheb”, was killed Sunday at dawn in the shelling of a house in Al-Shaout camp in Rafah governorate.

The leader, Khaled Saeed Mansour, is a member of the military council of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, and the commander of Gaza’s southern region. On Saturday, the occupation army targeted a house in Al-Shaout camp, killing Ziyad Al-Mudallal, son of Islamic Jihad leader Ahmed Al-Mudallal, and injuring dozens of people.

The Palestinian media also reported the martyrdom of the commander of the Al-Quds Brigades missile unit, Raafat Al-Zamili “Abu Al-Nour”. Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continues, as warplanes targeted a house in the Nasr neighborhood, south of Rafah.

The Israeli air force also targeted areas east of the governorate of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. In addition, the occupation is carrying out a campaign of arrests of leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement in several areas of the Strip.
