A court has issued arrest warrants for a stepmother and father on charges of abusing and killing their 12-year-old elementary school son.

On the 10th, the Incheon District Court arrested stepmother A (43) on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Child Abuse Crimes (Child Abuse and Death) and father B (40) on charges of habitual child abuse and habitual neglect under the Child Welfare Act. A warrant was issued.

Mr. A beat his stepson C (11) to death in an apartment house in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon on the 7th, and father B is accused of habitually abusing his son C.

Hwang Mi-jeong, a judge in charge of warrants at the Incheon District Court, issued a warrant following the interrogation of the suspects before the arrest of Mr.

Prior to the warrant review that day, Mr. B, the father, said, “I’m sorry” to the reporter’s question, “Aren’t you sorry for the child?” When asked why she lied that her child had harmed herself, she replied, “I never said that, her stepmother did.”

In addition, to the question “Why did you not allow me to meet your real mother?”, she said, “I mightn’t contact you,” and to the question “What do you mean, I mightn’t contact you?”

Then, to the question “Did you hit the child?”, he said, “I never hit him.” To the question, “Have you ever seen a stepmother hit a child?”, he said “Yes.” Also, to the question “Why did you not go to school?” My wife did all of that,” he replied.

In response to the same question, Mr. A hurriedly entered the examination hall with his head bowed and without saying anything.

Mr. A is accused of abusing and killing his stepson C in an apartment in Namdong-gu, Incheon on the followingnoon of the 7th.

Mr. B is also accused of abuse, such as habitually beating C.

Bruises, presumably from bruises (wounds caused by external shocks), were found on the body of the dead group C.

In the initial police investigation, Mr. A and his wife denied the allegations of abuse, saying, “The bruises on the body are wounds caused by the son’s self-harm.”

Group C continued to be absent from school from November 24 of last year until recently, and was subject to intensive management by the education authorities.

However, Mr. A and his wife refused various information from the school, saying, “We are preparing to study in the Philippines, so we are doing ‘home schooling’.”

The couple remarried a few years ago and are said to have two daughters, ages 3 and 4, in addition to Army C.
