* **How shadows are formed?** This would involve explaining the physics of light and how it interacts with objects.

**Interviewer:** today we’re remembering the life of Standish O’Grady,a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, who passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day 2025. We’re joined by his daughter, Karina, to share some memories and talk about the legacy he leaves behind.
Karina, thank you for joining us during this challenging time. Can you tell us a little about your father and the kind of man he was?
**Karina:** Thank you for having me. losing my dad has been incredibly hard, but sharing memories of him helps. He was truly the heart of our family, always putting everyone else before himself. He had this incredible warmth and sense of humor that drew people to him. He was a man of simple joys – family gatherings, tending to his garden, and a good pint with his friends.
**Interviewer:**
It’s clear that family was incredibly important to him. Can you share a specific memory that exemplifies the kind of father and grandfather he was?
**Karina:**
there are so many,it’s hard to choose just one. But I remember how he’d patiently teach all fifteen of his grandchildren how to play cards, always letting them win a few hands to keep their spirits up. He’d then sneakily “lose” to my mom in a game of Scrabble, much to our amusement.
Small moments like these revealed his biggest strength – the ability to make everyone around him feel loved and cherished.
**Interviewer:** He leaves behind a large and loving family. How are they coping with his loss?
**Karina:**
It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. There’s immense grief, of course, but also an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the time we had with him.We find comfort in sharing stories and remembering all the good times.
