Waterford​ is mourning the loss of Nichola Aylward (née Hughes), CEO of Down Syndrome Ireland, who passed⁣ away peacefully at home on December 27th, 2024. She was surrounded by her ⁣loving family. Nichola will be deeply missed by⁤ her daughter,‍ Elizabeth, and elizabeths father, Noel. ⁤ Her heartbroken⁢ parents, Peter and Margaret, along with sisters Rebecca, Sarah, Emma, and Laura, and their husbands Carl and Steve, are also mourning‌ her loss.​ Nichola’s absence will be keenly felt by her nieces, nephews,‌ aunts, ‍uncles, cousins, extended ⁤family, relatives, neighbors, and many ⁣friends. “May her gentle soul rest​ in peace,” ​a⁤ sentiment‍ echoed by those who knew ⁢and loved Nichola. Funeral Arrangements Nichola⁢ will be reposing at⁢ Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, ⁣Tramore from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, January 1st, with⁢ all welcome.
