At a Volcanic eruption in Indonesia At least eleven people were killed. Three survivors had been rescued, local search and rescue forces said on Monday. At the time of the eruption, 75 mountaineers were in the area. 49 climbers were evacuated from the area and many were being treated for burns.
Ash thrown into the air
The 2,891 meter high volcano erupted on Sunday, throwing ash up to three kilometers into the air. Video footage showed a huge ash cloud stretching far into the sky, as well as cars and roads covered in ash.
