On September 20, a pedestrian was hit in the evening on rue Hochelaga, near avenue De La Salle, by a driver driving a Mercedes which fled following the collision.
In order to move this file forward, the investigators want to speak to the driver of a white Mazda 3, model year between 2014 and 2018, which was seen in the vicinity at the time of the tragedy.
“He would have been traveling in the same lane in which a pedestrian was struck, and therefore may have seen the maneuvers of the driver of a dark-coloured Mercedes before the latter was involved in the collision with the pedestrian”, argued the Montreal Police Service.
