Two people were killed and 14 others injured in a bus explosion in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, local police reported.
In a statement, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said the explosion occurred in the Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood.

« According to initial reports, unfortunately, two civilians on board the bus were killed and 14 others were injured and hospitalized”he indicated.
The regional branch of the “Islamic State” (IS) group claimed responsibility for this explosion in a message on Telegram.
In November, seven people were killed in an explosion on a bus in Dasht-e-Barchi, also claimed by IS.
The number of bombings and suicide attacks in Afghanistan has declined since the Taliban took power in August 2021.
