Deadly argument in Graz and dead couple discovered

The Graz police went out twice on Friday because of a murder alarm: while a pensioner and his wife, who was in a wheelchair, were found dead at the central cemetery, a man died in the course of an argument with another man from a stab wound in Vinzenzgasse in Graz-Eggenberg, the police confirmed a report in the online edition of the “Kleine Zeitung”.

As the police announced during the night, a 75-year-old man first shot his 71-year-old wife and then himself at the Graz central cemetery. Both were found lifeless in the followingnoon near their previously reserved grave. The couple had a suicide note with them and a pistol was also seized. It appears from the letter that the motive was the woman’s illness.

Almost at the same time, the police were called to a dispute between two men. One of the two, said to be in his early 60s, stabbed the other and severely injured his neck. There was no rescue for the victim, who was probably in his mid-30s. The suspect was arrested. There was no information regarding the exact murder weapon.
