Taxpayers will have until May 25, 11:59 p.m., to complete their pre-filled declaration on the impots.gouv.fr website if they live in a department numbered from 01 to 19 (from Ain to Corrèze), until June 1, 11:59 p.m., if they reside in a department numbered 20 to 54 (from Corse-du-Sud to Meurthe-et-Moselle), and until June 8, 11:59 p.m., for departments numbered 55 (Meuse ) and beyond.

A new statement for owners

Reserved for users whose home is not connected to the internet, the paper declaration must be returned no later than May 22, specifies the press release from the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP). For this minority of taxpayers, the mailing of the pre-filled declarations will take place from April 6 to 25.

In addition to this declaration of income, owners, individuals and companies, are now obliged to declare the current state of occupation of their property (s) for residential use, details RTL. This is done on the same government site, in the “Manage my real estate” tab, until June 30. In reality, this is a consequence of the abolition of the housing tax for main residences from 2023.
