Morocco was shaken on the night of Friday, September 8, by the deadliest earthquake in decades. The natural phenomenon caused more than 2,000 deaths, injuries and widespread damage. In Marrakech, many residents were forced to stay outside their homes following tremors caused walls and roofs to collapse in the historic city.
