More to Dead Space Remake

In a new blog post EA offers some developer insights in the upcoming horror game. There are interesting details regarding Dead Space Remake, such as information regarding a group of hardcore fans who helped advise on development. Likewise, new graphical effects for dismembering enemies are also themed, so there is something for everyone. But the most interesting information concerns the game’s camera and its new content. In the original Dead Space The camera continued to follow Isaac Clark, but the USS Ishimura was split into several parts to allow for loading times. In Dead Space Remake we can transport the entire ship without ever seeing a loading screen or a cut.

God of War successfully used this trick in 2018. And while it may sound like a bit of a gimmick, it has helped draw players into the game world and keep them there. In a horror game, camera cuts and loading times are almost liberating as they allow you to breathe a little. But if these breaks are gone, the gaming experience will probably become even more tense or exciting – unless you die! The blog also discusses some additional content appearing in the game. Some of that will come from the new 360-degree space flight, which is a big improvement over the first game. EA and motives are expected on January 27, 2023 the Dead Space Remake release for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
