Game News Dead Space Remake: a puzzle and a date for the first gameplay presentation!
Expected for next January, Dead Space Remake has not yet dared to show itself in depth. After a little treasure hunt organized by the official Twitter account of the Electronic Arts game, we learn today that the app will show up very, very quickly.
The return of a survival-horror monument
First released in 2008, Dead Space quickly became known as a true reference of survival-horror. Frightening, visceral, the Electronic Arts software had attracted a good part of the players at the time despite a somewhat light scenario. In the 2500s, Isaac Clarke, an engineer, is tasked with restoring contact with the USG Ishimura, a surface-breaking spaceship lost in space. Upon arrival, Isaac Clarke and his team find that all the staff have disappeared: a mysterious virus has spread through the ship and transformed the passengers into necromorphs, bloodthirsty monsters.
Having given rise to two sequels (the very good Dead Space 2 and the worst Dead Space 3) the license ended up gradually disappearing from the video game landscape before finally returning to the delight of fans by next year with the Remake of the first opus. If for the moment Electronic Arts has been careful not to reveal too much, this remake should present itself very soon, with gameplay.

Dead Space Remake has been quite discreet since its official release in July 2021. a teaser here, a statement there… despite the few presentations offered by Motive Studios aimed at showing behind the scenes, Electronic Arts is keeping it a secret, for now. Yesterday, the official Twitter account of the license offered its followers a little treasure hunt. With a truncated image and the caption “Make us whole”, fans pieced together an image that ended up revealing a strange design.
Once the puzzle is solved, the account has finally shared an announcement video that gives us an appointment on October 4 for the first gameplay trailer. So only three days left before discovering what Electronic Arts and the Motive Studios teams have concocted for us for this remake.
