Last week, Capcom revealed that it’s working on a remastered version of the original Dead Rising, and through its most recent Capcom Next stream, we’ve already learned more details regarding Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which is coming this September 19 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Brought back to life by Capcom’s RE ENGINE, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the perfect remaster of the 2006 classic that offered a fresh take on the zombie genre with incredible action, mind-blowing combat, a variety of weapons, outlandish costumes, and a comedic yet thrilling story.

If you’ve been living under a rock or trapped in a mall for the past 18 years, this installment features photojournalist Frank West, who ventures to Willamette, Colorado following hearing that something unnatural is happening in the town. Frank soon discovers that he’s in the middle of a zombie invasion and that he has 72 hours to uncover the truth regarding this outbreak.
