Dead Island It has been postulated over time as the quintessential zombie killer. As if it were Zombieland itself, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver brought in 2014 a very addictive installment whose main mission was to survive the apocalypse with everything we might: sticks, bats, pickaxes, firearms… Eight years later, we are closer than ever to its official sequel, Dead Island 2which has been made to beg. On February 3, 2023 we will have this new adventure available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC that will transport us to a Los Angeles absolutely devastated by zombiesand of course our goal will be to kill them in the most violent ways possible.

The most curious thing is that this time they have bitten us, but we are immune and therefore this infection makes us even stronger on the battlefield. In Dead Island 2 we must learn to control this curious virus that has killed humanity and discover little by little what we have become. Crushing, beating and tearing apart we will roam the streets of the American city. The story is the most captivating and the gameplay will follow in the footsteps of the previous installment, but improving all the technical aspects (which can be seen with the naked eye) and add news in terms of arsenal, exploration and crafting for weapons.
Melee combat is still the main feature of Dead Islandy we will have a stamina system that forces us to constantly measure our actions, but luckily, it seems, it won’t be as strict as in other titles where this mechanic is also used and it will give us a little more leeway to be able to run longer distances, perform more combos, etc. And speaking of combos, combat also aims to be insane, allowing players to alternate between firearms and melee to kill as many enemies as we can. Which will splatter our screen with blood on more than one occasion.
In addition, we can use elements such as fire, water or electricity to kill zombies, and we can even combine them (like the last two mentioned). What will help us create traps to kill the different types of zombies, each one can be weak to depending on what elements. It seems that by now Dambuster Studios has muddled through as the new studio in charge of the title (we had already had a couple in charge before) and Dead Island 2within what there is, is better than we expected.
