Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has revealed his determination for the second leg following the Europa League play-off first leg away away to Barcelona.
United conceded a goal to Marcos Alonso, but Marcus Rashford’s goal and an own goal led to a brief turnaround, but Rafiña conceded a last-minute goal.
De Gea expressed his feelings following the match.
“It is not the good result I was hoping for. But the game itself was great.”
“Both teams tried to score and create chances. It was a good match. We scored the second and dominated the game, but the opponent scored.”
“The last game was a bit difficult. Opponent created good chances. There is no end yet. We will be playing at Old Trafford next week, so we will be looking for a win.”
But right now there is a Premier League game once morest Leicester City on the weekend. De Gea’s determination is great.
“It’s good to play the second leg at home. Our fans will be with us. We will play our game at home and we will win.”
“We will try to win, but the opponent is a good team, and it is a really good team.”
“Even a draw is a result of its own. I think the fans at Old Trafford can be a factor that puts a lot of pressure on the opponent.”
