De Croo curries Paul Magnette: “If I were him, I would work on the number of unemployed in Wallonia”

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open VLD) criticized PS President Paul Magnette, who recently mentioned thehas the possibility that he will become Prime Minister following the next elections. “We are just under 500 days away from the election. Apparently Mr. Magnette is working on that. If I were him, I would work on the gigantic gap – which continues to widen – between the number of workers in Flanders and the number of unemployed in Wallonia. The PS has all the levers in hand to remedy this”pointed out Alexander De Croo on Sunday on the set of VTM News.

“Maybe everyone should do their job. Maybe we should do what is expected of a politician,” he continued. And for Paul Magnette, “it’s regarding getting Wallonia back on track. As president of the largest party in Wallonia, he can do his job there”concluded the Prime Minister.

Georges-Louis Bouchez: “Paul Magnette gives lessons, but he is mayor of a town where the employment rate is 53%”
