Camp for teenagers
Perhaps the biggest news is a one-day camp where practical and interesting subjects will be taught. “When creating the paintball field, I kept getting questions about whether there would be entertainment for children or teenagers. Since I did not encounter such activities in the area, I came up with a day camp for teenagers aged 11-19. It will take place in a secluded place, surrounded by nature and will allow you to escape from the routine of telecommunications. Forests, groves, fields will help you get to know nature and relax.
Since the camp’s calling card is paintball and outdoor entertainment, children will participate in paintball, tourist hikes and camp on our equipped pitches. The action and educational activities will not let you get bored,” said Ingrida Kudeliovė, who is organizing the camps.
You will learn to light a fire and get water
It is promised that the activities will be scouting in nature – interesting and providing new skills. “I have accumulated a lot of knowledge from previously attended young geographers’ camps, I got some of my knowledge from shooting training, I have read a lot of literature, so I want to share my knowledge with children as well.” The camp program will be adapted according to age and combined: sports activities include a 10 km hike that will train endurance, throwing an imaginary grenade by hitting a certain zone, or relay races. Also camping and setting up a campsite, various educations: we will learn rope weaving, various tying knots, we will learn how to light a fire using scout tools, how to get water if there is no water source around. Probably not all adults know that by covering a deciduous tree with a special bag and making holes in the ground, water condensate can be collected and the tree can be used as a water pump. Such practical knowledge is interesting for children, they have the opportunity to try something new. Therefore, survival skills training will take place in the camp,” the woman said.
