Experiential research: From August 26 to 31, a five-day scientific symposium attracted young people aged over 16 to Styria.
Breathing university air and experiencing research up close is popular in Styria at the end of August – Montanuniversität Leoben is opening the doors of its science laboratories and inviting young people interested in research into the future era. The five-day workshop will be held at the Montanuni campus from August 26 to 31. The motto is “Adapt yourself to the climate”. The university itself talks about a “different kind” of holiday camp, an event for all those with creative minds and an interest in research.
Science Lab: Learn how research is done
In the university’s science laboratories, participants learn how research is conducted and how solutions using renewable energy and new forms of heating are developed and implemented. You are free to unleash your creativity and develop your own ideas for the energy transition. In addition to lab work, there are outings. Young people can also get to know university campuses and other (prospective) students who “share the same enthusiasm for forward-thinking ideas”.
