South Korean band DAY6 will release a new mini album titled Band Aid on September 2, 2024.

JYP Entertainment, the agency that houses DAY6, announced the group’s new album launch schedule as well as a link to the album teaser trailer on their official X account, quoted Tuesday (13/8).

The 30-second video that the agency broadcast on the group’s YouTube channel shows the four members of DAY6 playing musical instruments accompanied by the sound of instruments.

Band Aid is the ninth mini album by DAY6, consisting of Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.

DAY6 released their mini album Fourever in March 2024, after a three-year hiatus due to their members’ military service.

The album contains seven songs, including the title track Welcome to the Show, which had lyrics written by Young K.

“The song’s atmosphere will also suit many occasions. It’s a great song to sing at concert halls, graduation ceremonies, and sports games,” Young K said at the time.

DAY6 debuted in 2015 with a mini album titled The Day. At that time, DAY6 still had six members, including Im Jun-hyeok and Park Jae-hyung.

Jun-hyeok left the group in 2016 and Jae-hyung in 2021 decided not to renew his contract with JYP Entertainment.

After two members left, DAY6 continued their career in the Korean music industry with four members. (Ant/Z-1)
