- A small white goat was scene running loose on Folsom Street in SoMa this afternoon. The video below was taken by a person stuck in traffic trying to get on the Bay Bridge at a time when several lanes were shut down due to an individual having a mental health episode — but where did this (possibly juvenile) goat come from!?

- The SF Unified School District remains, administratively, a mess, and they just admitted that they failed to file three quarterly wage reports last year, which will impact thousands of teachers and staff. The error means that, while the district paid the state all withheld taxes, it did not differentiate how much was being paid for each employee, meaning the state can’t confirm how much any individual might be owed as a refund. - We’re learning a bit more about a story involving a stillborn baby who was found in a portable toilet at a sanctioned city homeless encampment last year. Apparently the woman who gave birth not only did not know she was pregnant, but she was treated at a hospital just the day before and the hospital never detected the pregnancy. [Chronicle]
- Governor Gavin Newsom is making good on that promise to cut off Walgreens following their decision about not distributing abortion drugs in anti-abortion states, and he’s just canceled a $54 million contract. The state had a contract with Walgreens to supply specialty drugs to prisons. [Politico]
- A suspect in an attempted robbery was killed in a car collision in Oakland today. The incident happened on the 5900 block of Buena Vista Avenue, and two suspects sped off in a car following the attempted robbery, in which the victim fought back, crashed, one suspect fled and the other was found dead at the scene. - A car flipped over in an apparent DUI crash in San Rafael Wednesday afternoon, and the driver tried to flee the scene but was soon located by police. [KRON4]
- A vintage Muni train car, a Boeing model from the 1970s that was decommissioned and turned into an office in Richmond, has found a buyer after its current owners were looking to sell — and it will be going up to Geyserville where it may be rentable for Airbnb-type overnight stays. [Chronicle]
