Davion Mitchell comes out of his box and allows the Kings to beat the Hornets

De’Aaron Fox was injured last night once morest the Hornets, on contact with Nick Richards. He tried to get back on the floor, without success, but his replacement Davion Mitchell gave us one of his best career performances to take the Kings to a second straight success, 115-108.

To see the stats of the Hornets who played well but lost well, it’s right here

De’Aaron Fox had started the season pretty well: 27.8 points at 55% shooting, 7.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists, if you keep it up you’re in the discussion for the MVP. Well, this year not sure, because the monsters above are running at 36 pawns per evening, but we understand each other. But here it is, the Sacramento Kings still win their first match, their season is finally launched… and boom, De’Aaron Fox is going crazy trying to force a passage that we won’t even give him, female dog of life.

A knee injury that he wanted to test when he returned to the field, without success. He therefore left his people following nine minutes of play and eight points, everything was fine for those who had chosen him in TTFL but no luck or rather grimace soup in the bowl. Those would in any case have done better to click on his replacement, Davion Mitchell. Because the kid drafted in 2021 did not take half measures for his first game over 30 minutes this season: 23 points at 9/11 shooting including 5/6 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, not his best performance in career (a small 28 points once morest the Suns in March) but we are not far from it. Above all, he managed to bring what De’Aaron Fox brought: scoring and tempo in the game. A back-up who does the same job with the same performance as the starter, what do the people want? Add to that three interceptions for a bonus defensive contribution, and that gives us a boss game for a guy we don’t expect that much from.

And when with that comes the victory, the evening is therefore perfect for Davion Mitchell and the Kings. However, it all started badly for Mike Brown’s men. Led by 15 at halftime, they then had to fight back from the locker room to come backand they did it brilliantly, thanks to a third act at +19 before taking up to nine points in advance, in particular thanks to a Kevin Huerter still on fire: 28 points at 50% shooting and 50% at 3-pointers. But since basketball is a game of runs, highs and lows, the Hornets came back… before the Kings put a final shove in the final two minutes, courtesy of Trey Lyles and that heck of Davion Mitchell , him once more. In the end, seven points ahead and a second consecutive victory for the Kings, finally launched!

We don’t yet know the severity of De’Aaron Fox’s injury but don’t worry, his replacement Davion Mitchell is ready to perform. The Kings are launching their first winning streak this season, an incredible two-game winning streak, to say we almost thought they were going to tank when we all know they’re aiming for 11th place.
