David Kruse was ready for IFK Gothenburg on Thursday.
Now he is reported to be available to play against Djurgården on Saturday.
– He will come here in good physical shape, says assistant coach Joachim Björklund The soccer channel.
It became clear on Thursday that David Kruse signed a 4.5-year contract with IFK Gothenburg. He then most recently joined from French Valenciennes FC.
On Saturday, he will do his first training with Blåvitt. But he is also available to make his debut in the big meeting against Djurgården on Sunday.
– He is definitely relevant for a match squad. He is in games and training. It is not that he has been lying at home on the sofa, but it is full speed and he has played four practice matches already. Not 90 minutes, but he will come here in good physical shape, says assistant coach Joachim Björklund to Fotbollskanalen.
Furthermore, Björklund says that Kruse played in a training match with his previous club on Saturday.
– He played for an hour then. That he will come here and need some pre-season, that will not be the case. He is in the match squad if we get him ready to play, and I think we will.
Björklund continues:
– Then whether he starts or is on the bench, we will make that decision tomorrow (Saturday) when we see him in training and have a little chat with him.
