The head of British diplomacy, David Cameron, promised President Volodymyr Zelensky continued military support for Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion, during his first trip abroad since his appointment. “I wanted this to be my first visit,” he said during his negotiations with the Ukrainian president, according to a video released by the Ukrainian presidency.
“What I mean by being here is that we will continue to provide you with the moral, diplomatic, economic, but above all military support that you need not only this year, and next year, but also throughout as long as it takes,” assured the British official.
