Dave Morissette to Host Morning Show on Pace 105.7: His New Professional Challenge Revealed

Dave Morissette has been employed by TVA Sports for several years now. For quite a while he hosted the show Dave Morissette en directwhich was intended to be the network’s late-night show.

That said, for some time, we feel that his responsibilities are diminishing on the channel. We see him less and less (he only hosts the post-match show on Saturday evenings now) and we wondered what his future was with TVA Sports.

And now, today, we learn that Morissette will begin a new professional challenge in August, when he will host the morning show on the airwaves of Pace 105,7 starting August 21.

He will be accompanied by Julie Houle on animation.

In fact, therefore, it will become his new main professional project. This is therefore his next challenge after a long full-time career at TVA Sports.

Remember that he has already hosted on the radio in the past, but for the past ten years, it is on television that we mainly see the former hockey player. On the waves of a more generalist channel, he will have the latitude to talk about something other than just sport.

This is not the first time that we have seen him move away from the world of sport, that said: this summer, for example, he is a collaborator on the summer show Sweety saltypresented on TVA.

It is therefore good news to see him inherit a full-time position in the media world, he who remains a popular figure across Quebec.

We wish him the best of luck in his new challenge.

Prolongation

Recall that a few months ago, Réjean Tremblay claimed that Morissette had been “tapped” at TVA Sports.

And this is probably the reason that explains the fact that he joins the airwaves of Rhythm 105.7 from August.
