Latvian ice hockey players won away from Denmark with a score of 6:3 (3:0, 2:1, 1:2)

Kaspars Daugaviņš scored three goals for the winners, while Kārlis Čukste, Mārtiņš Dzierkals, and Rodrigo Ābols each scored.

Latvia took the lead in the ninth minute of the match, when Daugavins scored most of the goals following the passes of Ronald Ėeniņš and Rodrigo Ābol.

In the third period, the Danish hockey players managed to recover two goals, but less than five minutes before the end of the regular time, Daugavins beat the home team’s goalkeeper for the third time.

Extra time was played for training purposes, in which no more goals were scored. On the other hand, in the series of shots following the game, Rihards Bukarts and Daugaviņas realized their “bullishes”, and Latvia conceded 2:3.

Among the candidates who continued the training camp this week, Haralds Egle, Jānis Jaks, Georg Golovkovs, Filips Buncis and Oskars Cibulskis did not go to this match.

So far, the Latvian national team has won and lost to Polish, British and Swiss hockey players in test matches.

The World Championship, which will be held jointly in the Finnish cities of Tampere and Riga, will take place from May 12 to 28.
