Dates and prices for Arc Alchemist A750, A580 and A380 desktop graphics cards

All would be announced at Computex; the first and the last marketed in stride.

According to WCCFTech information obtained from Taiwanese sources, Intel will showcase three Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards at Computex. The references in question would be the Arc Alchemist A750, A580 and A380. Note that Computex 2022 will take place from May 24 to 27.

Intel would market the Arc A750 and A380 graphics cards in stride; the A580 would be available later, during the month of July. The most high-end Arc desktop offer, the A780, would land for its part in the third quarter, probably in September according to rumors.

Dell lists an Intel Arc Pro A40M graphics card

MSRPs ranging from $150 to $350

The website WCCFTech does not only risk itself on the ground of the calendar, but also on that of the prices. The item carries a recommended retail price (MSRP – Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) $150 for the Arc Alchemist A380, $280 for the Arc Alchemist A580, and $350 for the Arc Alchemist A750. For comparison, remember that the GeForce RTX 3060 et Radeon RX 6600 have MSRPs of $329; very theoretical rates for several months, we concede it to you.

In any case, Intel seems to want to practice a fairly aggressive pricing policy for its Arc GPUs. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to convince customers.

Assuming that the prices charged for the GeForce and Radeon continue to fall and eventually stabilize at the recommended levels, buyers might favor the cards of the two historical market players. Beyond purely material considerations, it is Intel’s ability to ensure software monitoring as sustained as those guaranteed by AMD and NVIDIA that raise questions: very recently, the company failed to meet its own deadline for releasing an update to an Arc GPU driver.

Additionally, as the months pass, Intel is exposing its Arc Alchemist GPUs to next-gen ones from NVIDIA and AMD (RTX 4000 et RX 7000).

In short, for now, Intel’s return/entry into the dedicated graphics card market can’t really be called triumphant; it is rather laborious.
