Archyde: Collaborating with musicians ⁤of the caliber of Martins Freimanis and ‌Walter Friedenberg ‍must have been ‍inspiring. What was it ‌like working ⁢with them?

Janis‍ Dreimanis: working with them was truly a privilege.Both Martins and Walter were incredibly talented and generous with their experience. Their presence brought a level of depth ⁢and nuance ⁣to the recording that I wouldn’t ⁣have achieved on⁢ my own. I ⁢learned⁣ so⁤ much ⁣from observing⁤ them in the studio.

Archyde: ⁣‌ “Lecamar Friend” originally went by a ‍different title, “Jumping Out,Friend.”‍ What prompted the change to ⁢its current title?

Janis⁢ Dreimanis:‍ It was actually drummer Uldis ​Knaps who⁣ suggested ⁢the ‍title change. “Jumping‍ Friend” captures ⁢the⁣ spirit of the song better,‍ representing the carefree abandon and excitement we aimed to convey.

Archyde: The song feels incredibly timely. many of us crave those meaningful connections after recent challenging times. What message⁤ do you hope listeners take away from “Lecamar Friend”?

Janis Dreimanis: Most ‌importantly, we hope “Lecamar Friend” reminds everyone to⁣ cherish those connections. Make time for friends, celebrate those⁢ spontaneous ​moments, ‌and‌ never lose that sense of childlike wonder.
