Darkest Dungeon 2 Content Update: New Boss, Monsters, Locations, and More!

The creators of dark role-playing roguelike Darkest Dungeon 2 are going to release the first content update in the middle of this month. It will be free and will give players: the return of the Collector mini-boss, which will appear in combat encounters under certain conditions; the appearance of a new monster called the Gaunt Chirurgeon, with the help of a “super-fan” of the game. The character will have his own unique location, the Surgeon’s Table, which can appear on any map; gamepad and Steam Deck support; the opportunity to test your combat skills by fighting Champions – elite enemies that randomly appear right during the battle with other opponents; general updates to the Eternal Flame and torch system, as well as additional improvements and bug fixes. The developers have not yet disclosed the exact release date of the update. Darkest Dungeon 2 itself, recall, is available on PC, EGS and Steam. In May, it became known that its circulation exceeded 500 thousand copies.
