“Dark Tunnels in Lebanon: A Call for Safety and Accountability”

Representative Jamil Al-Sayyed tweeted on his Twitter account, writing: “I passed the airport tunnel and returned from the Ouzai tunnel. The first is the longest tunnel for Lebanon and the second is less than it.”

He added, “The darkness in them is complete, there is no lighting, not even light reflectors on the edges of the road, had it not been for the rear lights of the car in front of you!”

He continued, “The road to the Bekaa is a disaster with light, and the road to the south is a disaster with darkness!”

Al-Sayed concluded, “Some negligence is negligence, and most of it is lack of morals.”
