[smartPC사랑=이백현 기자] The ‘fishbowl case’, which is made up of tempered glass on both the front and sides, is characterized by the fact that the inside of the product is clearly visible. In this type of fish tank case, the parts must be visible at a glance without being obscured, and the internal structure must be clean to feel its original beauty.
Dark Flash has been continuously introducing fish tank cases like this recently, and this time, it has released a case that uses tempered glass on three sides and a dual chamber structure to give an open feel at a glance. Let’s take a look at the Dark Flash DQX90 White.
Ball head clamp type 3-sided tempered glass
Dark Flash DQX90 is a fish tank case with tempered glass panels on three sides, including the front and left sides, and everything in between. All three-sided tempered glass uses the ball head clamp method (a method of fixing the panel by ‘biting’ a ball-shaped structure into a concave clamp), so it can be opened and closed without tools.
Because the tempered glass panel can be removed independently without affecting other parts of the case, it is advantageous for simple PC repair work such as RAM replacement. As a basic configuration, three 120mm cooling fans and one 140mm cooling fan (rear) are provided, and a maximum of three cooling fans at the bottom and three at the top can be configured to use up to 10 cooling fans.
All three sides of the tempered glass are separated using a ball head clamp. You can see the 120mm cooling fan on the side and the rear cooling fan. The I/O terminal consists of USB Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A x2, audio, reset, and power buttons. A graphics card support with magnets is provided as standard.
A mesh panel covers the cooling fan mounting space at the bottom of the case, which makes the entire exterior of the case look neat when a bottom fan is not configured or a cooling fan without RGB is used.

Dual chamber structure that separates the power from the rest of the components
Instead of having the front and left sides blocked, the cooling ability was improved by applying a ‘dual chamber’ structure that separates the power supply to allow air flow. The metal panel on the right side is divided into two, with a mesh design and dust filter applied to the power supply side and the side cooling fan side, respectively. Both the right side metal panel and the top panel can be separated and joined using the ball head clamp method.
The right side panel is divided into two, and a mesh design is applied to the side cooling fan and power supply sections, respectively. Dual chamber structure where the airflow of the power supply and storage device is separated from the rest of the components.
Storage bracket reminiscent of a rack mount
Another part that looks unusual is the storage bracket. The two brackets located on the back of the motherboard can be separated by removing the screws on the back of the case, and the design, reminiscent of a server rack mount, is quite stylish. Up to three 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed on this bracket, a total of six.
The power supply mounting part is located at the bottom left, and the storage device bracket is located at the top left. Seven PCIe slots are provided.
The storage bracket can be removed by removing the thumb screw.
In conclusion
Dark Flash DQX90 is a mid-tower case with three sides made of tempered glass and a dual chamber structure that provides a cool view of the interior. It can be evaluated as having taken care of both appearance and practicality as storage devices can be placed generously. If you are looking for a fish tank case that can show off the internal components nicely, the Dark Flash DQX90 would be a good choice.
