Dark Clouds won the Screenplay Award at the Rabat Film Festival

The Syrian film “Dark Clouds”, directed by the artist Ayman Zidan, won the “Screenplay” award at the 27th edition of the “Rabat Author Film Festival”, which concluded Thursday evening in the Moroccan capital.

The events of the film, written by the artist Ayman Zidan in partnership with Yasmine Abu Fakhr, begin with the decision of the film’s hero, Dr. Ahmed, who is played by the artist Wael Ramadan, to return to his war-ravaged city following a long absence in France, to end his last days there following discovering that he has cancer. With his return, the stories of this agonizing city explode, on which the war cast its shadows and burdened the fates of those who lived through the harsh years there.

Lina Hawarneh, Ramez Atallah, Lama Bodour, Hazem Zidan and Nour Ali co-star in the film, with the participation of Mohamed Haddaki, Judd Saeed and a group of other actors.

And the movie “Dark Clouds” has already been Won the “Jerusalem Award for Artistic Achievement” Two years ago, within the framework of the 36th session of the “Alexandria Film Festival”, as well as the “Artistic Creativity Award” within the 10th session of the “Lebanon Film and Television Festival”, which was held last summer.
